Many career people like me have a working week that consists of office duties and travelling around the UK. Working in an office has its benefits whilst travelling on the road can sometimes be very tiresome. I visit many different areas in the United Kingdom during the working week, traffic jams and delays are my main bugbear. Towards the end of a tiring day all I wish to do is reserve a good hotel that can provide me with comfortable accommodation.
To me, cities in the UK can be the most difficult places to find hotel accommodation. The last thing I want to do at the end of a hard days work is to be searching for somewhere to rest. Planning ahead for hotel accommodation is not always easy, my work schedule constantly changes and sometimes my daily locations can change too.
Just the other day I was heading towards a planned meeting rendezvous when a phone call from head office completely changed my plans. Manchester was the new location for my next seminar. For once fortune smiled upon me. I located
a wonderful hotel on the outskirts of the city, not too far from the bustling centre. Fortunately hotel accommodation on the outskirts of major cities is generally much quieter than when staying in the city itself. Thankfully my new meeting location was only thirty minutes drive away.
The hotel ticked all the right boxes. An array of up-to-date amenities and facilities including Wi-Fi, which in my line of work is absolutely necessary, were on offer. What a fabulous restaurant too, really perfect for business people who have to endure a lot of travelling by road.
My room was spacious, light and very comfortable. It had everything I needed, en suite bathroom, a nice bed, room service and an early morning wake up call facility. The latter was extremely useful especially as I had a meeting to attend beginning at 10.00 a.m. the next morning. Thankfully I had a sound nights sleep, woke up refreshed and was looking forward to a hearty breakfast.
Judging by the meal I had last night, which was excellent, I knew the breakfast was going to be just as good. When you travel a lot in your job like me, a full English breakfast is just what you need to set you up for the day. The hotel seemed very popular with business people; the staff were very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to accommodate guests.
I was absolutely dreading the rush hour traffic; however, the journey time to my business meeting, took just over half an hour. Feeling refreshed I was able to concentrate completely on the business agenda in hand, the day itself was a resounding success.
For me personally, hotels on the outskirts of large cities such as Manchester are very recommendable. The hotel I reserved had everything I required and much more.
In the United Kingdom, Manchester is one of the places that thrives with thousands of people visiting it every day. They may be in town on business or in Manchester to experience the parties and nightlife. Either way, they want to find a hotel near manchester so that they can ditch their bags and explore the wonderful city.
All manchester hotels, are eager to please their customers and gain a good reputation in the hotel trade. Their restaurants have the top chefs and menus that make your mouth water. Their bedrooms are luxurious and the perfect place to rest your head at the end of the day. All their staff know and practice the best hospitality trends so all visitors will feel like they don't want to leave. Business Share Your Opinion. (0 posts)
