Are you sick of the tangle of cords on your office desk? If you are, the Logitech Wireless Desktop MK320 keyboard and mouse combo is made for you. The Logitech Wireless Desktop MK320 comprises of a travel-ready wireless mouse and a normal sized keyboard, both featuring a solid wireless connection. Installing the Desktop MK320 is a snap. Getting your new keyboard and mouse set out of the box is more difficult than installing them. Both pieces work with Windows 7, Vista, XP and all Windows based PCs, and are immediately recognized by your computer. Just plug and play - no lag time or other installation problems.
The keyboard comes with two extra keys for shortcuts, along with all the regular keys. There's a key that permits toggling between your home page and email together with music shortcuts and any other open applications you may have. The inclusion of two special keys for On and Off functions and locking up your PC is a cool feature. It says that the keyboard is spill-resistant, but hopefully you will never need to find that one
out. The wireless mouse is the same size as those of most standard notebooks. The wireless mouse features a left and right button and the scroll button, and appears to work okay with either hand. Just above the ON/OFF switch is where the receiver snaps on to the bottom of the mouse.
At the bottom of the mouse you can find the battery cover release button. Page front/back buttons, which are more usual with a desktop mouse than a notebook one, are gone. The mouse has a 5 month battery life, while the keyboard battery is said to last up to 15 months. Keep in mind, batteries that come with devices like these are questionable at best, and all batteries' lives depend to a large extent on usage. There is a battery life indicator on the mouse, but not the keyboard.
One way that you can use the keyboard is to watch shows with the laptop on the desk and being able to control everything with the keyboard from the sofa.
A few of the advantages of the Logitech Wireless Desktop MK320 are the very good battery life, convenient shortcuts, the spill-resistant keyboard, as well as how the receiver snaps into the bottom of the mouse. Additionally, the mouse's battery cover fits well and is quite secure. There's no way the cover is going to basically fall off - you need to push the release. There are some drawbacks, most notably the batteries are not rechargeable. Also, there is no battery life indicator on the wireless keyboard the mouse doesn't have forward/back buttons.
The Logitech Wireless Desktop MK320 will work well with desktop PCs, but even better with laptop computers, for which it is specifically created. The keyboard and mouse combo is a good value at its relatively low-cost price, with its convenience and performance.
