 Have you ever tried one of the many stay at home moms business opportunities and failed? Ill bet if I could hear you voice, Id hear you say, Yes.
How did the experience make you feel? Were you frustrated? Hurt? Did you feel like being a stay at home mom and making money was true for others, but not something you could do?
Let me go ahead and tell you, those feelings are NORMAL. Anytime we pursue a goal where the reward is so great, we feel terrible if it doesnt work out the way we planned. Also, the wealthiest people in the world have had huge failures too, even Donald Trump. Whats the difference between Trump, people like him, and all those who dont make money? now spends all the time with her children that she wants.
You also have that same success quality that other successful stay at home moms have. How do I know that? Because you are reading this article. You wouldnt be doing so otherwise.
So, what do you need to have success? The answer, in a nutshell, is systems. I know youre probably thinking, my last company had a system, sign up my friends and family and...uhhh...thats it. Unfortunately, I hear that quite often. If thats what you did last time, Im sure you understand already that you need a system that goes beyond that.
While you SHOULD talk to people you know, you also MUST have a way of generating prospects and customers from the general public.
There are many ways of doing this. Flyers, sizzle cards, DVDs, newspaper ads, and so on and so forth. You may have even done some of these in your last business opportunity. There are two simple problems these all have, money and you.
Money, because all of those things cost money. Perhaps the cost is not too high for each method, but the cumulative effect can add up to a lot of money over time. The other problem, you, is simply because you WILL have a learning curve when people respond before you can successfully make the sale. That doesnt mean that the opportunity is bad or you cant do it.
While this is a normal process that EVERYONE goes through, if you are not getting new customers and partners, then many people simply cannot afford to keep putting out flyers and so forth. Once this happens, they get discouraged and are out of business. Any of this sound familiar?
Therefore, you need a system that will allow you to prospect for FREE. Thats right, one that will allow you to overcome that normal and expected learning curve without hurting your budget. Does such a system exist? Yes, youre using it right now.
The internet is the most powerful marketing tool in world history. It allows you to reach people all over the world for FREE. Yes there are some basic things you need to market on the internet that do cost money. These would be a computer, internet access, and a telephone. As you are reading this article online, I would imagine you have all of these things.
The next thing you need is education. I would love to be able to teach you everything in this article, but that is not possible. Let me give you some examples that should illustrate what you can do online that you will need to learn.
Instead of paying for newspaper ads, youll use free online classifieds. Instead of paying for radio advertisements, you put out free podcasts. Instead of paying for television commercials, you post free videos on You Tube.
The list goes on and on. These methods work, are free, and can be done without you ever leaving your house.
